Art Cooperative Granat, d.u.v. Turnov (since 1953) is cooperative of possessors, who mass and also grow up stone cutters, goldsmiths and silversmiths from Turnov and its environs. With its production programme, design and high sense in details and quality, banks on several centuries of tradition of this arts-craft in Bohemia and specially in Turnov region, which is known as "Czech Paradise".

Cooperative Granat produces garnet and modern gold and silver jewellery, cuts gem and synthetic stones. Cooperates on various avant-garde and studio projects, starts to develop production of art designed souvenirs (various miniatures of objects meaningfull for tourists) and technical perfect gift miniatures. Cooperative Granat is able to satisfy customers in production of unique jewels according to the individual wish and is able to supply larger series too. There are ten shops in Czech Republic, which serve to our customers. Cooperative employs altogether 360 workers in goldsmith and silversmith production, cutting of stones, in preparation of metal semi-finished products, in mining of garnet stones, in development, in firm shops, in marketing etc. Granat exports its products into various European states, United States and Japan. One year turn-over is 300 mil. Crowns. Part of own assets is 98% in the total value.
